Historica have organised a diverse array of large and small-scale events in many different settings.

In November 2005 Historica was engaged to provide a media and event campaign for the Vikings exhibition at the Australian National Maritime Museum. We conceived a campaign of ‘Vikings’ suddenly ‘transported’ to the present day wandering the streets of Sydney, asking for directions to the Museum.

We were also engaged to provide ‘living history’ and re-enactment for the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar and the arrival of the Ship ENDEAVOUR at the Australian Maritime Museum, as well as the operation of a ‘press gang’ around The Rocks area.

In March 2004 Historica was engaged by Blacktown City Council to coordinate the 200th Anniversary Commemorative Re-enactment of the 1804 Battle of Vinegar Hill. We brought 300 reenactors together from across the country, sourcing specific skills and talents for this event that attracted unprecedented regional, national and international media coverage. Historica was inspired by the critical acclaim of the re-enactment of Vinegar Hill - widely received by participants and spectators alike as the best and most authentic re-enactment ever conducted in this country.

Historica have coordinated or been involved with a range of other reenactment events from the Medieval and Renaissance periods to the First World War - even the American Civil War!
