Historica offer Museums several exciting options – from large-scale re-enactments to small interpretive living history programs.

We have worked with several museums through the use of performances of reenactors in enhancing exhibitions and in celebrating historical events. At the Australian National Maritime Museum for example, Historica coordinated celebrations for the arrival of HMS ENDEAVOUR at the museum, for the 200^th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar and conducted the media campaign, launch and exhibition opening for the Vikings Exhibition.

Historica can coordinate a range of activities that compliment museums and their collections, from ‘Ghost walkers’ (silent reenactors wandering a site) to educational displays, to more theatrical performances.

Reenactment and living history can animate objects from a collection. It can show audiences how artefacts were used. It is a powerful medium in generating publicity for events and interpreting exhibitions and collections.
