Historica aims for an overarching attention to detail in historical accuracy in every project we undertake. Having said that we understand the creative and financial requirements of the Film and Television industry and we make it a key component of our involvement to strive for the ‘best look for the best price’.
Historica have a large storehouse of costume for hire to the Film and Television Industry or for other history events. We have an extensive collection of 18th and 19th Century costumes of various Australian Colonial and British and European clothing and accoutrements, especially Convicts, Soldiers, Sailors and Civilians.
We also provide costume for:
- Dark Ages/Vikings
- Medieval
- Renaissance (particularly English Civil War and Pirates)
We can also source and provide costume for other historical periods such as Roman, Greek, early 20th Century, World War One & Two.
